YoYo started in Hereford in 1980, known then as YoYo Poetico with chief voice Royston Martin's Castaneda type musings giving them a Beefheart mix of music and poetry. Moving first to Bristol (cf 'The Big Room' EP) then to London ('Sound Advice') and back to Bristol YoYo evolved through acid jazz, to a kaleidoscope of musical styles.
